TRVLSOCIAL

Coming soon in December 2026

Good people.
Better adventures.

Rides that end at a shared table. Reefs you surface from together. TRVLSOCIAL is being built so the people come first — in your city, then everywhere it takes you.

The best part of any trip was never the place.

It was the people around the table, the ones who showed up at sunrise, the friends you made ten minutes from home. TRVLSOCIAL exists for belonging — shared adventures, never solo FOMO.

First departures are planned for December 2026 — the plan is what we are building toward, and everything above is what the platform does as it opens.

December 2026 · first departures

Six journeys being shaped right now

Proposed small-group departures for the first wave — riders, divers, kayakers and fishing boats, each capped small so the group is the point. Every draft is confirmed with its operating business before reservations open; nothing is chargeable today.

Booking, step by step

How booking works.

  1. Find it

Browse journeys by interest and destination. Each experience shows its dates, how many places are left, and the total price. Preview journeys are clearly marked — proposed dates and prices that cannot be paid for until the business confirms them.

  2. Check the terms

Each business sets its own deposit, when the balance is due, how close to departure a booking becomes a single full payment, its grace period and its cancellation tiers. The deposit, balance timing and cancellation terms are shown on the experience before you commit.

  3. Reserve and pay

Your place is held while your checkout is open and is released only after it expires unpaid. Pay a deposit now — or the full price when departure is close. The 5.5% service fee is shown as its own line, and the amount on the payment page is exactly what is charged, in the currency you picked.

  4. Balance and cancellation

Your balance due date is shown with your reservation, in the experience's own time zone. The business's grace period gives you extra time after it; past the deadline a new balance checkout cannot start (one already in progress may still complete), and reminder emails are planned, not switched on yet. If you cancel, the business's tiers decide the refund and you see the exact amount first. If the business cancels the date — including for unsafe weather — everything you paid comes back in full.

The business sets the deposit and timing: for example, with a 14-day full-payment window and the balance due 14 days before a 5 December 2026 departure, reserving on or before 20 November pays a deposit now with the balance due 21 November; from 21 November the whole price is paid at once.

Questions

Asked, answered.

Is TRVLSOCIAL open yet?

Today you can sign in with an email link, keep a traveler profile and build a bucket list. The marketplace — experiences, communities, inquiries, reservations and business tools — is planned to open, with first departures planned for December 2026.

What does it cost?

Joining is free and there is no membership, subscription or listing fee. Travelers pay a 5.5% service fee on the experience price, shown as its own line at checkout. Businesses pay a 10% commission on bookings, deducted from the business's share — never added to the traveler's price.

How do deposits and the balance work?

Reserve earlier than the business's full-payment window and you pay a deposit now with the balance due a set number of days before departure. Reserve inside that window and you pay the full price at once. Every experience shows its deposit, balance timing and cancellation terms; each business also sets its own grace period.

When is the balance due, and what if I'm late?

Your balance due date is shown with your reservation, in the experience's own time zone. The business's grace period (48 hours unless it sets another) gives you extra time after it. After that you cannot start a new balance checkout — a checkout already in progress may still complete. Balance reminder emails are planned for the week before, the day before, the due date and the grace period, and are not switched on yet. The balance is never charged automatically.

Can I cancel?

Yes. The refund follows the business's cancellation tiers for how many days are left before departure — a share of the price and of the service fee you paid. You see the exact refund before you confirm, and refunds go back to the original payment in the currency you paid.

What if the business cancels?

If the business cancels the date you reserved — including for unsafe weather — your paid reservation is cancelled and the price and service fee you paid are refunded in full to your original payment method; when the money arrives depends on the payment provider. Any new date is arranged directly with the business; nothing is rescheduled automatically.

Who actually runs each experience?

The local business that publishes it. TRVLSOCIAL is the marketplace: it lists the experience and takes the traveler's payment. For help, reply to any TRVLSOCIAL email or use the contact form.

What are preview journeys?

Proposed dates and prices, clearly marked. They cannot be paid for until the business confirms them.
